Japan’s Inflation Rate
Japan’s annual inflation rate fell slightly to 2.7% in March 2024 from a three-month high of 2.8% in February, in line with market expectations. Slightly below estimates of 2.7%, the core inflation rate dropped to 2.6% from a four-month peak of 2.8%.
